About the Class

In this dynamic class, students focus on refining individual performance while learning how to support and contribute to the cuadro flamenco — the traditional flamenco ensemble of dancer, singer, and guitarist. Through a combination of solo work and group practice, dancers will continue developing existing group choreographies with a strong emphasis on performance, musicality, and presence. Special attention is given to interacting with live music (cante and guitarra), improving responsiveness, and learning how to confidently execute choreographies and improvise within a group setting. This class prepares dancers for live performance and collaboration, helping each student grow not just as a soloist, but as a vital part of the flamenco ensemble.
