Bulerias for Beginners

About the Class

Bula-what? Bulerias por fiesta are a palo flamenco that are played at gatherings and parties, and EVERYONE gets up to take a turn dancing a pataíta. In this class we will look at the base rhythms and focus on the basic components of a patá. We will practice a few different combinations with some typical letras of bulerias de Jerez, and learn some basic jaleos to support each other and add aire. This class is for everyone regardless of their level of experience or level of anxiety!
